The staff seemed to prioritize selling extras and upgrades over providing attentive service.

Our stay at this hotel was a memorable and luxurious experience. The exclusive amenities offered satisfied our need for relaxation and leisure. The full-body massages and body wraps at the spa & wellness centre were rejuvenating. The outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi provided a breathtaking view of the beachfront. The restaurant served exquisite dishes that catered to our dietary needs. The private facilities, including our own treatment room, made our stay intimate and comfortable. The location advantages offered access to a sun terrace and garden area that provided a serene environment.
We encountered a minor issue with the service at the bar/lounge area. The staff seemed overworked, and the service was slow.

My partner and I recently stayed at Sandals Grande Antigua and it was an exceptional experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and provided impeccable customer service. One particular waiter, Antonio, stood out with his friendly and energetic attitude. He was always there to help and chat with us, truly a credit to himself and the Sandals group. The other female waitress was also brilliant, displaying the same level of excellence. Our waiter at Elenor's was great, allowing us to try the special and offering excellent recommendations. Selena at reception was always happy to assist and provide local tour advice. Kosie, the hotdog guy, was friendly and always made us feel welcome. Lastly, our dive instructor, Urantis , was patient, knowledgeable. the staff at Sandals Grande Antigua made our stay truly memorable.
I just want to mention that we had a few minor issues during our stay. The older part of the resort could use some renovations in certain areas.

I had a wonderful time at Sandals Grande Antigua. The beach was absolutely stunning, with clear turquoise waters and soft white sand. I enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking, which were easy to book and included in my stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. The Japanese restaurant, Kimonos, stood out with its delicious food and entertaining chef. The resort was not overcrowded, so I had plenty of space to relax by the pool or on the beach. I had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.
Although the resort was beautiful, I did notice some areas in need of renovation, particularly in the older part of the hotel. Additionally, I did have to wait a while during check-in, and there was no pool service available.

Just spent New Year in the most amazing place! Loved the delicious complimentary drinks and the amazing beach location, with crystal-clear waters and beautiful views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile. Plus, the live entertainment in the evenings was fantastic!
Some areas of the hotel were in need of a little attention. The bathroom felt a bit outdated and could use some refurbishment.

We loved the hotel facilities, including the beautiful pools and the lovely beach located close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. During our romantic escape, we had a great time relaxing by the beautiful beach and enjoying the awesome pools. The water activities were easy to book, and we loved trying out snorkeling and kayaking. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making us feel at home. We also enjoyed the tasty breakfast and comprehensive drink options offered.
Some of the restaurants and items on the menu were not available for us, and constantly being pestered by staff for upgrades was a bit annoying. The wifi was useless unless we paid to upgrade, and the constant interruptions from staff trying to sell us more items ruined the pool's peaceful atmosphere.
